Frage von ich:Hello!
I want to use the TV card from my MedionPC MD in 8800 a new scheme. What can or must I do so that the card in the new system is detected. The TV card is a hybrid of Philips Drivers 7131E-series chipset.
New system:
Mainboard: GIGABYTE P35T-DS3P
CPU: Intel Core nor D 830
Graphics: Geforce 8800 GTS 630 MB DDR3
Festpla. 2x Seagate 1x350GB 1x 500GB
So the TV card is from the new system. Device Manager is simply not recognized. Is it possible that TV card in another system. to operate?

A similar problem I had synonymous times, but I do not know exactly whether it was the same model. In any event, a TV card of Medion.
Do you have the original disk (floppy?) With the necessary drivers? Without the left in my case nothing at all, because I was on the Internet (a few months ago) do not find it.
Antwort von s2kk:
Ditto. I have one from the MD8080 and it was only synonymous with the original driver CD to install.
I do not know if it is the same, but if you have the CD no longer have, I can see the drivers determine times to send the DVD if I raussuche.

Hello!
First thanks for the replies. Yes, the original CD is still available. But the TV card driver does not have exe. How will I know the install. Or you can copy file into it somewhere. In Syst.32 or only in a system so that the Windows driver files themselves recognize?

Antwort von s2kk:
Try it on Control Panel -> Hardware and then select the folder as the source.
Should actually work.

the use of nothing to me. As I said the card is in device manager not displayed! So for praktischt Syst. does not exist! There is good advice is expensive. What should be done so that the Syst. TV K.beim boot überhaubt recognizes only once?
Antwort von B.DeKid:
Is this Vista or XP system?
Went to search for new hardware?
Are you sure the card is not already in the device manager shows up somewhere?
Antwort von ich:
XP-H.
if yes than what should they be displayed?
Antwort von Markus:
if yes than what should they be displayed? In my case, the TV card as "Unknown" is displayed. The PC was aware that he had a new hardware, but he could not find out what it was.
I had everything required of hand and finally install the drivers. After the hardware worked, but it was a very nice gefrickel until then.

If the card in Device Manager really does not appear: Any slots off in the BIOS? Further information about the slot type of TV card and where on the motherboard also help ...

I can tell you why this is:
I have the synonymous MD 8800 and I did when I recently launched a better graphics card was installed, the TV card a slot next to bottom umgesteckt so that the graphics card a lot of space and air, so that they do not overheat ... etc . Now what was the end of the song? Sometime I wondered that my whole front synonymous and FireWire ports, etc. are no longer recognized ... Then I have a technician come Medion, who has immediately noticed that the TV card is no longer in "green" but is a slot in the white untendran. Then he said that the TV card (like all of synonymous Medion) a "special" ticket is (still is synonymous simultaneously a modem) and this special ticket synonymous only works in a special slot. (This is the green slot). And lo and behold: he has them back into the green slot and et volia it ran everything again.
Conclusion Great for you: You can schedule your TV Combo Special miracle Medion card ONLY and ONLY in an exclusively of Medion mainboard manufactured with a special slot to use ... Other motherboard, or (as in my case) only other slot kannste forget everything ... Why do you think that Medion PCs are always so cheap? I am amazed there has long been nothing more ...
