I am planning a purchase and am pretty much s.Verzweifeln because it seems no cameras there, and my ideas (; 20x zoom, HD, hard drive / SD Card, viewfinders, optical stabilization) unite. Probably I will sacrifice to make the zoom (for example SonyDCR-SR11), and because the question arises as to how I get to a reasonable telephoto come.
Tele converter are synonymous not just cheap, and the picture is not synonymous better of it. Perhaps that is synonymous Picture not bad if you take the teleconverter used the digital zoom?
Did someone with a telephoto converter has ever made such a comparison?

Yes!
If you use digital zoom, the picture usually pixilated. That you have with one to each case. By the picture, if somewhat softer, ie sharpness and detail suffer somewhat. Possibly synonymous notes the tendency to over-radiation somewhat.
How strong the effects will depend of the models.
Bie SonyDVD510 my, I can very well have a little digital zoomne, up about 1.5 times the little falls, even 2x-speed is still useful in emergencies. Is perhaps due to the fact that a 2 MP sensor, but records only SD.
On my old Panasonic with 800,000 pixels, the sensor Picture with 2x digital zoom, however, quite scary. Same for my compact Still Image Camera (Video mode).
I have looked at ebay a No-Name - ordered set (WW + Tele).
With my DVD510er worth the teleconverter is not as bottom line no relevant advantage arises. Therefore do I sell it synonymous again (see my display in the Gear forum, for 19 ¬ you can have it as new)
Unless you want more than 2x next (extra) to zoom, then zoom and digital use. Then a visibly better picture than if you add even more digital zoom, because then the picture is simply too grainy (but not with). Either way, the quality then of course no longer dolle.
With the 0.8 MP is the solution in any case better than digital zoom.
That goes for the cheap-converter, which I've worried. With a top-of course, the thing even more in favor of the converter fails.
