Yes! I see basically synonymous so! However, synonymous to many questions in the forum bezgl. not HDV Cams, who so around the 500 ¬ are. Hence my comment!

Nightfly! I think this is more a question of budget, as the format.
So beginners or occasional filmmaker, it is a non-easily more than 500 euros for a camera issue, which is then only 1 to 2x per year is used.
In the price segment, there are (still?), With a few SD Card HD cameras (usAiptek .. Well, Canon ... not officially available in Germany) not in HD.
Would in any case quite helpful synonymous in the cheaper regions (250 euros-600 euros) a comparable purchase recommendation to the editorial.

Sorry, but I think it makes you be a little simple: Everything what wegblenden <1000 euros, not HDV, not HD DVD ...
then of course, remain only a handful of models from which you left 2 as a "Tip" to select ....
