Who, for example with the Adobe CS4 works often do not know more, whether he s.einem Mac or PC is sitting. Many applications come with their own interface with and provide a common operating standard that works across the system.
In addition, there are more and more software under various operating system (or equivalent in your browser) is running. This is the actual performance of an operating system to another important factor. And we actually thought that Linux, Mac OS X and Windows Vista are here today not a gift. But a look at

HURRA - a new Mac vs. PC thread
I agree, as always, for PC - do not use Vista, but prefer to wait to 7

Oh I forgot, I should do something to the report type would be appropriate .... hmmm.
Oh yes now I know it again.
How quickly would the Mac OS X against Vista on a PC was equally expensive, rather than on a MAC?
Who can and wants to answer this question times ;-)

Antwort von Alan Smithee:
As far as I know is CS4 for the Mac only 32-bit Windows, while for a 64-bit version. That perhaps explains the speed difference.
Antwort von soahC:
CS4 is synonymous for PC only 32bit. Only Photoshop as a 64bit version available
Antwort von Chezus:
@ B. DeKid
you forget: Vista on a MAC running so fast, there is nothing of a PC;)
Wait, we look at Snow Leopard
Antwort von koji:
So ... I leave AE CS4 on Vista 64 run (4gb ram, WD RAID0, 512mb ATI 3650) and am with the performance ... naja ... it goes straight. slower would be a horror. well I work mostly with HD material and sophisticated filtering and plugins, but I think about 8 or 16GB of RAM after. 4gb should be the lower limit.
CS5 hope will finally have 64bit support. precisely in such programs, I can not understand 32bit. naja ... holding cost is something the reprogram.
as always synonymous ... wär s.liebsten I do not render. maybe in 20 years then.

The jop is exciting with the two systems. The verbal swords ever be sanded.

So when the comparison was yes Vista is installed on the Mac?
I would be interested in how quickly it all under Vista on a PC running the same would be expensive?
100% faster?
The Adobe CS on a PC better / more stable / faster, I have been
CS2 known! (personal experience)
Antwort von Chezus:
Ach ne, not again .... Zizi ,-P
Antwort von B.DeKid:
@ Zizi - that I've already asked :-(

Makes me wonder is not that AE will run better on Vista. Adobe is currently absolutely no effort what Macversionen concerned. Premiere CS3 and CS4 are so tough that they are unlikely to productive work synonymous only way of approach could be beneficial. And still so much to ask for money. Shame on you adobe!
But soon come new systems a la Snow Leopard and Windows Seven. Vllt are then shuffled the cards.
See ya!
