I have Premiere Pro CS 4 and would like to upgrade in the near future to the fifth CS Production Premium Suite Since I often sports reporting do, I asked myself whether it would be useful to the recordings cut (AVCHD format to SDHC memory cards with the Panasonic SD 707) to the spot with Premiere on a laptop and spend as AVI Dtei.
My question: Are there any laptops that are up this task - in other words - to which the Production Premium Suite - without any major problems running relatively quickly, so I can really save time synonymous? So to create the file should not take forever (on the desktop can tell times pi times the thumb: render time = double the real-time)
Does anyone have experience with Premiere Pro CS 5 on a laptop?

Thank you for your answer! This graphics card is installed in my Destop and works very well. My biggest concern is the processor and the memory. If the processors for laptops for such Progrmme strong enough?
On a Macbook I thought oh yes, but then again I would need the Mac vesion for the mac - Book and even the Windows version for the Destop ... Whether that makes sense? And the issue of Windows or Mac computer are the ghosts ...
But what is a "genütliche thing"?
