I want details of my old PC (Windows 98, not a burner) on my new laptop (Windows XP) transferred. How can I make the most?

there are several possibilities. as the best
1. network card installed, it costs 5 euros

or

2. via USB (USB1.1 probably cost nothing, but slowly)

W98 has no drivers for USB mass storage devices. " That would have been a stick with the supplied drivers for the W98.
