Hi friends,
I have a sequence in which I use the many different images of a surveillance camera had cut together.
I would like between the slices as a TV Zap-Shift-disorder transition.
You know these things maybe these margins shows or so .. da machst zzzzzp and then the nights clip - as if someone s.der remote control switch.
I hope you understand my concern.

hm, with a DVD recorder (or a TV card) on an unoccupied TV channel to record? Or of a blank video?
My own recorder is too clever, the switches in such experiments with the message "no signal" from.
For the purely private use (= or illegally), I would possibly the transition from a TV recording cut (= synonymous then the appropriate noise).

I had some time ago the times zapping Effect (not the modern ;-) of generates Television comedy series "Switch" viewed as one frame. This is a short sequence was different, distorted and farbverfremdeter frames.
With a bit of leisure can be a relatively easy even tinker.

What editing program you use then? Magix Video deLuxe for example has a very cheap, but after slight modification perfectly usable zapping-Effect in the presets ....
