Frage von Danner:I bought a JVC camcorder 270th My PC is a notebook
no FireWire, and no PCMCIA slot. The software supplied with the
Camcorder only allows the transfer of images (USB 2.0).
My Probevidios I could not be transferred but not synonymous over different
Vidio software.
Since I'm no expert, I want of you know if and how my
Problem is corrected.
Thank you

My PC is a laptop without FireWire, and no PCMCIA slot. That will not go - unless someone knows FireWire to USB 2.0 adapter ... Synonymous, and this assumes that your laptop has at least USB 2.0.

Has the Cam only one FW port and no USB?

Has the Cam only one FW port and no USB? The USB transfers, according to JVC no video ...
Antwort von Jan:
First of: the JVC GR D 270 is USB Highspeedfähig - Original software is supplied
- With the data transfer is purely theoretically, and a simple incision with full-quality 720x576 possible. Of course, the GR D 270 has a Firewire port synonymous is preferable.
But it can always be problems despite USB Highspeedfähig, some later upgraded USB 2.0 port wants to establish no contact with the camera, a number of external programs is recognized not synonymous of the JVC 270 drivers, not just to make sure to take original program - Play Menu forgotten. Or better you can get hold of a Firewire cable and in most cases - we'll see from SP 2 of problems to work with just about every program. Had recently dubbed as some with 3 CCD Pansonics the film with USB, since there's never been a problem, just as was with FW. D 270'm not there anymore, can not test it. What does the instructions - just then gone?
Please post more - Likelihood of error.

Yes, I have you confused with the GR D 290, sorry.
So first s.GR D 290 (of the 2005 models) for JVC has a USB 2.0 high speed dub.
It must therefore be used to capture the JVC GR D 270 a Firewire cable to full Resolutionzu.

In other words, dear asker origin 'Danner': You need another PC. From what I've found on the web fast, there is no adapter of Firewire to USB 2.0 ...

Yes well why do not we went, each mini Dv the last 5 years has a Firewire output - before the question comes back - so once there was a mini Dv of Pana had no Dv - MiniDv in the early days.
