Hello,
I try to just two camcorder s.einem PC (Windows XP) to operate.
If I both s.einer camcorder firewire card pursuing that detect both your camcorder.
Now, when I one of the camcorder as a DV -> AV wants to use converter, unfortunately he always shows the picture of the other camcorders, it is of the recently captured.

In order not to operate the two camcorder s.einem Firewirebus, I have a second firewire card installed.

The problem is with Windows. If both cameras simultaneously (both s.einer Firewire card) will be recognized, we have solved my problem.

Thanks for your input, but goal is really to be of a miniDV cam to capture output (via Firewire) and simultaneously over a DV firewire stream.
So I am looking for the function:

understand! the described problem reminds me of you s.eines what do you get if you want to use multiple sound cards. often this is not synonymous works flawlessly.

I would imagine that there could be as a hardware solution of specific "cut solution vendors." So Matrox and associates ...

The DV Drivers of M $ is not designed for it. Is Bill synonymous (open => MSDN articles and knowledge base on this).
There are ways around the problem. One way is to use a DV card, which does not use the M $ DV system for DV transfer. Eg an OHCI compliant DV card and one or EZDV Canopus Raptor or Storm ...
Another solution was a replacement of the M $ DV driver through its own development. I'd approach it views as a commercial development project in the context of live-capture of two DV cameras with switching and pause / resume. But does not know more what happened to that.
Before you and cheering you on E-Bay in search of second-hand Canopus cards (or other proprietary protocol with doing):

Somehow I have the hinbekommen before. I leaked with an XM1 and saw the picture on my DV recorder, together with the connected monitor. Now I know not whether I've captured the current picture. Must I necessarily even try it. Both devices incidentally hung s.einem Firewire hub and thus s.einer common s.Calculator FW interface.
