No, it's plastic. But it is not wobbly, at least not for me. I have the viewer / Viewfinder s.meiner 110 not yet kaputtbekommen ;-))
But please, do not compare apples with pears. A Camera for around ¬ 6,000, - to ¬ 10.000, - can not be with a camera for ¬ 30,000, - compare, this is so. If you care to handle it, it is no problem.
