Hello,
when I cam connected via firewire, everything works fine.
Which I do but via USB, the camera is not recognized or is synonymous the driver installation into the void (Win should already know Cam is 6 years old, Win XP Prof. SP3).
Did then synonymous still another source of the drivers downloaded and installed, reboot again and nothing ...
Is the connection until tomorrow morning (tonight).

The USB port s.der Camera is only suited to the Memory Stick access to read out there photos. Films on DV tape via Firewire must continue to be transferred. RTFM!

Deti synonymous ... if a little late, so I wanted to RTFM the writer with another one on the journey.
The camera in question is very much synonymous controllable via USB. MfG

I own this model for 7 years and over USB, I could only quality MPEG1 capture. With firewire, there is in the control and copying normalhin no problems.
