Yes this is precisely the MV 790 has a USB interface, but a standard USB cable does not fit right and of Canon, I can no suitable cable for the MV 790 shall

Why do you think because it was not what one says to you? The MV790 has no USB, you need a firewire cable! A glance at the instructions you would confirm this.

If not, there's not - I'm absolutely sure that any standard USB cable s.die Camera fits. This is, however, a special tool is required: http://data5.blog.de/media/584/2872584_797491bd99_m.jpeg
Otherwise just read the manual: http://www3.canon.de/images/pro/vid/dig/file/MV800i_800_790_IB_DEU_toc.pdf

The USB-like connection could be a special connector for analog signals.
