Ok, the following problem:
I have a camcorder (Panasonic NV-GS3), a FireWire IEEE 1394 card and a FireWire (i.Link) cable and would like my shots using this Equipment transferred to a PC for editing. I use to Adobe Premiere 6.0. Let us finally to the problem: When I connect the camera s.den PC, Windows recognizes the camera and gives me the function to record using Windows Movie Maker. I then start Premiere, and trying to incorporate. Premiere recognizes the camera, then runs but totally lame and shows me a picture of the s.was since it is running (sometimes it even hangs up) to German: "I can not take." I do not know why this is, but I know that it has previously schonmal works. Now I have reinstalled Windows and after a Sytemabsturz it is nothing more (see above).
Has anyone ever had a problem and times that knows how to solve it? "I would be really grateful!
PS: Same problem with the way Movie Maker!

I would start by saying that XP recognizes the camera within the system.
So make all drivers funktionfähig or ensure that there is no place s.dieser problems. You can control the system under test video equipment whether it works. How far are you? XP recognizes the device?

XP recognizes the camera, installed all the Drivers and lists them in the G-on manager. I have no idea what to do yet. (help please)

Grad was logged out, thus:
XP recognizes the camera, installed all the Drivers and lists them in the G-on manager. When I start the preview of Windows, then it shows me just an ugly picture of sometimes indistinguishable from what I just starting (or where the lens grad closer look) and then the picture freezes and I can break anything. Can it be that my IEEE-1394 card is not with the rest of my hardware is compatible??
I have no idea what to do yet. (help please)
