It's just simply so - without built / bundled SSD's are confined cheaper anyway. And then, as absurd as it sounds, it leaves the customer with the purchase of a fast memory, uncompressed is actually cheaper than compressed in such a device - it saves the codec, the hardware and license fees.
Which does not mean that I have this price would be hard not synonymous surprised. But the first April is synonymous in the U.S. long gone ...

However, is uncompressed so now synonymous not without disadvantages, which will notice many recruits then synonymous until the first (single) SSD is full ;-)

- Carsten Unkompremiertes 10 bit FullHD 24fps ... iff I do not now have settled, making the 186MB / s? ((1920 * * 1080pixel 10bitFarbtiefe 3Kanäle *) * 24fps / 8 to come to byte).
So 11.1 GB / min.
From 100 ¬ Gibts 64gb SSD with 200MB / s write speed. So that makes per minute 20 ¬ hard disk capacity, it now has to consider.
Well, it is cheap so do not get enough storage capacity.
But the problem we had with all uncompressed process.

- Carsten A 600GB SSD Intel kotet under 1000 ¬, so I can take almost 1 hour of uncompressed HD 24p. So more than you usually s.einem day so turns.
Furthermore, you have to buy the Gemini yes also SSDs. However, eating only the very special of Convergent, and which are "slightly" more expensive than the above.

This is an ideal solution, small, handy, seemingly reasonable power consumption, good design, synonymous SSD drives are now affordable
Comparison of the Convergent Basic prices!
So that others will come in price pressures, even to HD-SDI and HDMI what you want more, 10 bit and 422nd
Let's see when black magic is officially s.Markt present, hopefully soon!
