Infoseite // Underwater cameras: Panasonic SDR SW20 vs. Aiptek Z300HD

Frage von rippendale:

Hello, I'm now in my cam to get for the Surfurlaub this summer and is now facing a serious decision:

The Panasonic SDR SW20, of course, provides the first brand name as a guarantee of quality, do not need extra housing. In addition, it is synonymous shockproof and resistant to dust and sand, the beach was for me and quite careless lad is beneficial.
The MPEG-2 format in which they filmed, should be me with my Adobe Premiere no problems. Here is added to add that I have a video clip to be processed. And precisely because the Cam makes me a line through the bill. With only 350,000 effective pixels sounds so, so whether the quality would be significantly worse than in a normal MiniDV 800,000 pixels, is not it? In addition, the effect yes Compression synonymous nor negative ...
The Panasonic is around 300 euro to have

On the other, the Aiptek. Aiptek is in professional circles as a scrap and a delicate zig of a Cam I have zero desire. The Camera is not per se Unterwassercam, but there is a cheap housing to do so.
The cam is in MPEG4. Mov format, and the premiere is obviously not easy to handle next.
BUT: she is filming in HD, so it exceeds the Panasonic in terms of picture quality by far.
Sound for me is not a criterion, since the clips with music supportable.
Also missing the Aiptek Stabilization an image, which makes for a bad hire from the hands filmed stuff.
Aiptek's the case with s.250 euro.

Now my questions s.die experts:
- Makes the MPEG4 mov. with Premiere wirlich so because there are problems or at least NEN uncomplicated, lossless converter?
- Is the image quality in the Panasonic really so much worse than in a normal miniDV?
- Is a lack of Image Stabilization so serious?
- Aiptek is really so sensitive schrottig processed and that they NEN leave in your pocket will not survive?

Thanks in advance, Simon

Take the Pana and make the finished clips from HD and you have HD synonymous ....... so make the most synonymous and the other toys ... because the chip data is not the synonymous real "HD"

Look at the simple demo clips in Pana on youtube .....

alla
Have fun on vacation

thanks for the link, arndt, which, because of its post test report, is quite helpful ... generally, the kommentare yes but not sooo bad, right? because you are my test, it speaks volumes ...

@ b.dekid: So the problem is that my youtube left absolutely nothing to do, because yes again compressed of youtube. I have to know whether the camera is actually filming on DV level or whether the picture is considerably worse, and you remember when I cut clips to other, which with its normal DV are recorded.
Incidentally, the Aiptek films in true HD, 720p, the demo recordings are mildly impressive. I've just terrified that the thing falling apart after three minutes and especially my premiere, the clips do not swallow

Antwort von Peter13:

I had the Aiptek 2 weeks for testing.
The picture is super, synonymous on TV, Cam synonymous quite stable.
I gave it back.
Why?
This format can not process my application.
And the garbage is included.

From the Pana I have not yet synonymous heard much good, unfortunately.
The concept I like.
Seems to work only half-implemented.
