Hello,
I'm currently s.einem large project to Vesuvausbruch.
We are looking for old roads, possibly replicas in museums (see Pompeii), like synonymous Studios, the greatest possible similarity with the ancient Rome. It is about time by 79 BC
This could synonymous an ancient Roman house is a ruin, dusty roads, etc. In Malta we have white, dusty roads, the flowers were perfect for this, but the budget by the actors to bring to Malta, we have for this production is not.

I myself am a resident in the area between Mainz / Frankfurt.
Perhaps you have ideas or tips for filming locations, has a theater that has constructed scenes!

Still any ideas? I still have the Pompejanum found in Aschaffenburg.
Currently I am s.recherchieren how much one days rental of the film in Babelsberg park would cost and wait for a response via email.
(Oldest outdoor studio, actually medieval city, but many good places to use). Perhaps you know the approximate cost for only the location! Masks, props, camera, even under current circumstances, etc., which we bring with everything!

I like the area (which until now I've seen s.Bildern) very good! It would be synonymous exactly meet our production.
Since we are currently s.Umplanen and complete the shooting in the south of Bavaria and relocate in the Bavaria Film Studios in Munich and in Aschaffenburg Pompejanum turn, would of course be to consider whether it synonymous then travels to Switzerland.
But, as already written, we are financially begränzt and I do not have the budget to me to treat this location.
Maybe there is something in the vicinity! =)

Hello,
the idea to shoot in Malta, I had not. When I was in the planning of the Project was, I only vacation in Malta and made me filming locations of "Gladiator" views. And only a few shots from the sea, which we just might want to cut together.
What equipment we (finally) take, depends of the budget from which we made available to get. Minimum budget would be professional spotlights with lighting (because it is already fixed), Sennheiser microphones, mixer, aggregate and digital recording device for sound recording.
We shoot entirely in HD frames and 16:9, in the ground, it was a budget issue again! Dolly and may even Kamerakran we have available. With what we shoot cameras is not fixed yet, but it could at minimum 2 times the budget XH-G1 with tripods, because I and a friend to have!
I hope I could you answer your questions.

The filming locations I like mostly all quite good. Yesterday I have already viewed the Saalburg, because for me they came into consideration. But the scenes where we can implement in any case (unfortunately, because there is no drive to great expense).
As far as the Via Claudia is concerned, I now a little research. This is definitely a great tip that I can possibly implement.

Hello,
Thanks for the tips. The script wants and I will not publish. It goes (roughly) to a story of two children, together with their parents killed.
The production "Pompeii - The Last Day" and the Making-Off, I know. Filmed in Tunisia aporpos (For a great location because both arches, like the boat houses in Pompeii and even a ramp as in Pompeii were available). Tools were found synonymous easily ;-) It really is (unfortunately) only interesting information but many do not. Interestingly there is synonymous the work of the costume! What do you mean with CGI? I only know of the transfer process, but what has that to do?
With Blue / bluescreen synonymous, we will work in every case in the production process.
Then I am now a little bit to travel through Germany and me at the above objectives:
