Should it ever be made, this camcorder (or super-state, both optical as synonymous technically) to sell?
Has lost a lot back then and the image quality is compared with the current 1-Chipper, synonymous not so much worse.
Would like now to a HDD camcorder (JVC GZ-probably MG505E) switch and then the Sonyarbeitslos ...

I know, after reviewing this forum, I am synonymous "somewhat skeptical" has become. ;-)
But no preference, then I stop growing for a better 3-chip (DV or Mini DV) and to the DCR-TRV-30e still sell ... :-)
Nobody an idea?

You could you past auctions at eBay see where TRV30 has been auctioned. This is often a good approach.
