Hello I have a question: I have compiled the program with NTI Videomaker a small slideshow with music for VCD, then burn it to CD, but I can not play now that media player does not detect a VCD format. Can it be that my laptop without a DVD Burner can burn any VCD? And how can I burn a small movies to play it then later on the media player?

Hello,
VCDs are CDs so you do not need DVD burners, in order to play VCDs. With the Windows Media Player, I have never tried it, but with a DVD software player. The latter (in my case, PowerDVD) can do that
When it comes to you give priority to play the movies with WMP, you could save it in WMV format. This may reflect any current PC. A possible encoder is available for free on the Windows Media Encoder.
