Frage von Delpea:Hello!
I have been a few years in the DV editing and 2D animation field (Avid, After Effects). Now I would like my scope like a small item to expand by getting simple conversions of analog imagery as VHS or Hi8 tapes offer. These should be considered as a final product Mpeg2 encoded or burned to DVD. This story is rather parallel to the daily operation of running video, which is why I am reluctant to use the Avid wants. There are to my knowledge quite inexpensive hardware / software solutions that enable use without an additional cut comfortably Analog program material to encode and "DVD-ready" to make. S.Euch My question: What hardware can you recommend me da? The important thing is it really that the whole in a favorable budget is moving, since I do not have much call for video conversion company, but rather an additional feature for private individuals to offer here.

... simple conversions of analog imagery ... "Simple" conversions, each with a 30 - ¬-Videograbber or a VHS-DVD recorder to make. - If there is still a market? - Basically, a video production company, in my view a better quality than the home user with the above equipment / toys.
At the very least you need for your project a first class representation for each video recorder system, which offer you want to at least one A / D converter like the Canopus ADVC-300 (which is synonymous with no PC can be set, because of TBC and noise filters) and a DVD good recorder with MPEG-2 encoder and DVD high compatibility (eg Panasonic).
How much do you want to invest for? - Or do you want this benefit may equal outsoucen? ;-)
