Hello,
Wanted to complete 11.5 of VS on VS 12 change, but it will be better. My experience:
Very good is that the new version in my old VS 11.5 VSP files created much faster and renders vsbrennt, the latter is ruckzuck.
But my HD clips, I can even in proxy mode only in SD-quality cut, so the preview quality very modest (not to say complained ...) is hardly the whole thing and it can be assessed. At the end I have the project settings to HD switch again and can then render as usual. A stopgap measure, but no more! In fact an impertinence, if one reads the full advertising!
Will therefore continue in VS 11.5 cut and the new version only for rendering and burning used.
For others, experience reports, I would be grateful! Greeting Colo.

That is my experience synonymous. Above all are with me AVCHD footage no precise cuts succeeded. I commend Sony Vegas Platinum: There must be no pre files and still can work fluidly.

Thank you for your response and the tip! Be me the trial version. Actually, do I program change, if possible, because each new program requires training time. VS is generally good to use, if it were not for the quirks described would be! Put in the middle of a larger project (videos and pictures) that I'm still a few weeks to come. But a test with Sonyist in any case the experimental value.
