Hello, I am standing here in front of a real problem and I hope not alone. I work at my holiday video in 1080i then goes sometimes, unfortunately, more often down the preview speed up to 0.6 frames / sec in the attitude draft / Full. with a core Quad Processor eigendlich should go fast ... Have tried some settings. What I've noticed the Vegas RAM to 1 GB of 4 (in what is normal 32bit version) fully exploits and if the memory is full does the preview image s.zu Jerkiness. That is a mistake of Vegas in my opinion. Who has given a solution or a tip.

1080i - but of what your camcorder? Let's talk about AVCHD or HDV?
And trying times, the size of the internal RAM Prieviews likely to reduce - such as at 250 or 125 mb.
And what are the settings from the project - the material used, adapted s.das?

First, thanks for the quick answer, this is the SONY HDR-SR12E we talk of AVCHD. 200 MB've set is somewhat better but not optimal. Project setting, I s.die raw or adjusted so you can go on and open a raw menu. I work synonymous with 2 monitors but that should be synonymous yes no problem.
Have just read your link with the AVC format which makes it umgerendert be. I use directly the raw material (MTS files) in Vegas ... is this wrong?

Is it only 1920 AVCHD material, or are currently Effects, Filters, etc on it?
What the preview quality is set - 1920 for the AVCHD it makes sense to preview (full) to go, or even preview (half).
Do you work on the secondary display to the graphics card? If so, try only the internal preview - no secondary display.

there is still no effect and no synonymous filter the pure draufNur mts files. Even without Secondary display jerky it makes no difference. Preview is available on draft and full. On preview full + half jerky too.

Umgerendert be the material actually not - Vegas 8 imports the SR12 material natively, without conversion.
Please times more data on the PC:
- What Quad Processor, with how much MHz (2.5 Ghz - I thought there would be only 2.4 or 2.66 Ghz?)
- How much RAM are displayed (4 GB of XP are not supported)
- Which graphics card
- What SP of XP?

Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q9300 @ 2.5 GHz, 3.24 GB of RAM supports (but there are 2x 2 GB built-in)

For 1920s of AVCHD Canon HF100, I have seen that Vegas 8c covered under XP this performance has slumps. What helps a little, is the withdrawal of the ram previews, and if the internal preview feature disabled. Only with you is that the internal preview synonymous jerky.
Übertaktest your system? It helps now and Vegas 8c in AVCHD not much more (for HDV already), but could overclock Vegas 8b are currently the better choice. Unfortunately. Sonydürfte probably have to revise them.

No. I is not overclocked.
Then again, I must play out the 8b and hope it runs better, then I can just wait until something new of which comes again and hopefully not a new version, as it did with 7, because that AVC is not anything.

What is it exactly? The version 11 is available as a trial version then do I get the times down.

This is a software that secures Patitionen - so it saves its program and system partition (s), and if something happens, it plays back the generated images.

I have now installed 8b. and I noticed the picture in preview / full interlace is shown, it is not only the i behind the resolution, you can jump the line partially synonymous seen) that is at 8c is not the case there will be progressively scanned. Perhaps this is because the dog is buried?
