In search of a software for editing AVCHD in Vegas, I am Movie Studio 9 arrived, I was almost as far as to buy it because I les Amazon customer reviews in the following:

But then - oh horror - after trying for weeks now and the discussion with Sony Support, I have given up. Also you can find on the Internet that:
1) Vegas has a bug when writing to the AVCHD format, the software either hangs or crashes s.wenn the movie more than 2-3 min lasts!
2) The SonySR11 and many other video cameras to film interlaced with the upper segment first. Understands this is not Vegas, and for the output to DVD it looks terrible. It is again a bug that can not be circumvented.
Nice software, but unfortunately unusable for me. So if the goal is one of the AVCHD camera to create movies - prefer to buy other software ...
Is that so? can anyone confirm? I was, as the authors of the review, a synonymous HDR-SR11.
I'd antesten times, but I have before me a demo on 'nem months withdrawn and installed, but I am not free to come and now is the trial period expired * grrr *.

As described under Point two is nonsense.
What at first point describing is true for some quad-core systems. But there is the alternative to the MPEG-HD output and at least a workaround for this Renderbug, the ->
