You've searched s.der wrong place. These settings are not found in the Vegas menu, but in the menu of the Capture tool. Since then, they are synonymous with the trial version available.

in capture menu / Options / Prefeneces found in the Capture tab a box "Enable Dv Scene Detection" which has a checkmark. One sees in gecapt. Film Scenes synonymous individual, but they are not getrennet and synonymous in the media just a file.

Is this an analog or a digital source? DV or another format? The most direct way via firewire captured or may have a converter? Is the data on the DV tape (if the source was) and get written correctly? If the tape of the camera directly or is it off from the PC or of elsewhere?
The car scene separation of DV material using the data codes in principle works in Vegas is going smoothly. Did so for the last 4 years, no errors on Vegas.

The tape (DV) comes directly from the Camera (SonyHandycam PC1). The Fimmaterial was taken of me directly.
I have the camera connected via Firewire. It is recognized, it is synonymous control and delivers the video s.den computer, but only as a file.
Have now synonymous in MovieMaker tried exactly the same .....
You have asked whether the data code on the tape is honestly no idea.
Vido That was the end of October to me as ever. I have not previously synonymous Time code generated (ie whole tape first record), because the past was never a problem.

Time code and data code are two different things. With the time code, the separation scene, nothing to do.
Perhaps the system of your camera battery is empty. Then we can no longer running code data generated and a scene based on separation of the data codes can not work anymore.
