We have a regional community with current Party Pictures and Event Photos! Many already take pictures at a high level - very good digital SLR cameras.
We currently have a video synonymous field on the parties and events, we present a short review to make reports to 10 minutes and upload it to YouTube and integrate into our portal, forum, and video gallery. Beginning with a Bridge Camera 640x480 - now with a little JVC camera, this is already possible to 16:9, and good quality but still not a true HD.
Our vision is a larger video camera, the following requirements:
1) HD quality
2) External Microphone output
3) Affordable!
We want to be represented at a party with the Camera and the Microphone and give brief interviews with the party guests, organizers, singers, etc.. Would not only wrong but is obligatory. Although it may disturb some but the quality of light is without a head with the best camera underground.
Cameras, as HF100 and HV20, however, are only suitable for head light operation. From personal experience I know that no one in the HV20, the gain can directly influence. Maybe (and I have not tried it yet) it works on the "SPOTLIGHT" preset that does not overshadow the faces reinmurkst and the automtatische gain.
My suggestion would be more of a Z5 or XH A1, but which is of course outside of your budget.
