Hello,
have a SonyDCR-HC 18 E and the software Ulead Video Studio 6 and installed a DV Video Edition Card. When trying to dub for Camera, always comes the message "Either no device is connected or installed any video drivers. Who can help me? Must say, to bring PC found after the installation of the card is not the message "New Hardware", had suggested that the card may be defective, it was exchanged, but the exact same thing again.

hi fir, for me that was so synonymous s.meiner hc 17th mitdem original cable program does not recognize the camera. only with a FireWire cable went. however, synonymous only with the 2 cables. The first took the ton not with.

The problem I had with my HC17 synonymous. Calculator is for executing my Win2000 and Liquid Edition Pro 5.6.
The Firewire Drivers of Texas Instruments was in fact the latest of Windoze, but my camcorder was not recognized synonymous. Then I decided to install my copy, all IEEE-Drivers of WIN XP SP2 from my laptop on my W2k-Calculator in a test directory, then the new drivers via the device controller and VOILA: funzt Dat Ding! No matter what kind of cable. The XP drivers but seems to be somewhat more flexible and works fine under 2000!
