Hello people
I performance problems with my video footage I would have like to know whether it is in MAGIX VD16 proxy is something like function? So convert HD video in MPEG cut / edit and then apply this to the original file? Thus, one would edit smoothly. Does anyone know if and how does it work? In sony vegas, it will go apparently fals it does not work I will probably reluctantly have to change: (;!

Try out the following:
change first convert all the clips and use batch processing to MPEG2 and then all in one go with a file renaming program according to the endings. MTS.
Then cut import, Project Save and close the program.
The folder with the renamed MPEGs rename, and re-start vdl16 Project call. There is the message that the folder could not be found and whether to look for it (or something similar) then just specify the folder with the originals. If the Project is then simply export.
