Frage von Robert79:Hi folks,
I have been in possession of a
SonyDCR newest
DVD202E and really totally satisfied with this cam.
The only drawback: The cam is distinguished into so-called Mpeg2 format on DVD, which is notoriously difficult to revise.
My question: Is it possible to convert the recorded Mpeg2 format on the hdd in my PC into a format to Avi or Mpeg3 nacher in Ulead Media Studio 8 Pro reprocess that (new) file to then?
For help, whether it is something that I would be grateful.
Robert

Can you [...] the recorded Mpeg2 format on the hdd in my PC nacher in Ulead Media Studio 8 Pro postprocess [...] [...]? Yes, it is. Either indirectly via the MPEG2 / DV-AVI conversion or analog capturing.
I try to Fremdaufnahmen mostly former solution, but if this lasts much longer, or have any difficulties, I take the second path.
What do you with MPEG3 (= MP3 = audio going to do), reveals itself to me not quite.

erstmal thank you for your message. That with the "Mpeg3 format" was probably more of a Freudian slip. I know well that video editing only in AVI format is useful, but still, I rather remain a Beginners in this field.
I work with Ulead Media Studio 8 Pro and wants to accompany my previously recorded clip on DVD and then cut all with music clips. In the music clips I work with Cubase SX (that I know myself very well turn out).
It is possible, although the recorded video directly synonymous with cut all the action, but I would still rather do it with Ulead Media Studio.
I once researched and came across "Super DVD Ripper." This program can be handy DVD's in AVI format to convert to hard drive.

Is recorded on the DVD as VOBs? And MSP8 can not directly handle the material?
Each Umkonversion expected to cost just quality, and as long as we are in SD resolution of speech, should MSP8 on a PC today's middle-order have no problems whatsoever. And over analog material, I would be in the interest of quality time not even want to go.
Sitting in the VOBs eh probably just a sound - and a video track - maybe even go to import directly, without conversion. In the simplest case, by the VOB file renaming mpg.
I have not been tested.

Hello,
ja na klar is converted into the VOB format, as can the DVDs now in (almost) abpielen any DVD player. Or even once seen lonely Mpeg2 files to DVDs? (Just kidding s.Rande)
That was the highlight of that time synonymous, that there is no "cable-Sessions" but more records directly to DVD. Capacity is about 30 minutes then at about 4.5 gigabytes of data. Due to the ever-mentioned loss of quality I'd say this is not so extreme now that I'm not so Bildfetischist. As long as the recording is pixelfrei and reasonably good looking (eg 700xer resolution), I'm satisfied in any case.
Again, many thanks for your effort.
