Hi,
in the follow-on pinnacle studio plus 11.1 puts me in the timeline is always the scene starts.
Manifests itself is that the preview of the newly attached always a scene too early trimmed to reflect the start, although the scene is properly trimmed.
Which one is the problem?

Which one is the problem? You editing mpeg-material? Perhaps the program always tries s.den I-frames "einzurasten". Or you have the "Einrastfunktion" checked? This is useful if you want to combine two clips, but should otherwise remain off.
Another problem arises here s.and too, which is called "meaningless subjects" ...

But relating to:
Check in the setup of 11.1 PINNACLE whether recording format to DV or MPEG 1 / 2 is set. Have the same problem when switching camera, or better use of varying SONY DCR TRV-330E and CANON XH-A1 had. Most was a displacement of 3 images. After changing the setting of the recording format, the beginnings of scenes detected.
