Hi,
I no longer look through and hope you can help me. Have now read a lot and searched the Internet, but completely lost the overview. So not too angry, if my questions somehow and somewhere else and repeat.
Did my computer now as avi-files on the calculator.
1) The WM player said to me at properties that the video size 320 * 240 amount. Is it correct? My camcorder (SonyHC17E) has 0.8 MP. Or when I play on the PC was done wrong (with Picture it)? Do I need to somehow set something else?
2) Did the avi files already cut and just create a video show with Magix VdL2007Plus. When I'm finished, I would like the avi files (40 GB) to save space and be happy with as little loss of quality on a DVD archive (if you are still times I need) to make space on my PC to create new projects. Can I do that with VdL2007Plus? Or I suppose another prog and if so what (Virtualdub, DrDivX, TMPGEnc, Super, avitoirgendwas etc.). I would like to see one more reluctant to buy expensive Prog. Back to tape does not. And what format is suitable to s.besten (MPEG 1, 2, 4, DivX 4, 6 etc.). In what setting do I need to pay particular attention.
Is it perhaps for the simple layman generally comprehensible instructions somewhere? I just do not know how I s.besten applicant? There's even a more or less common position on this issue or this is all rather matter of opinion?

With 320x240, you'll probably have no pleasure because it is VHS quality, then apart from that it should be 352x288.
If it appears to be no instructions in the camera or the editing program it is and you seem unwilling to synonymous in any book stores too care because the cost could be something, you should see it again with DVD 720x 576 format and 4-6 MB data sample.

Eva was right - 320x240 is a complete Schmarn. About Play the video via firewire, then you have DV-AVI on the record, in full 720x576 glory. The material belongs to cut, it can even Magix good. DAS is your real problem times.
Ideal archived one time for such a film still, by him via DV-in s.Camcorders to DV tape from the editing program writes out back - if the camcorder can. If not, make at least one high-quality DVD possible. yes I've been a prog bought, what was not exactly cheap. I do not necessarily buy more. Instructions for the Camera I synonymous, but there is nothing to the resolution.

Have no clue how to Magix off when you have let's say a new project is created. - Sometimes the articles are somewhat misleading - it should be covered on each DVD PAL create "or similar.
Otherwise goch hope will one find the same program as gas you used, and so little details can make.
A Firewire cable does not cost the world and saves you a lot of time and problems - it is also easier eteas help to give if the same conditions are there.

Located at 320 * 240 USB? Genau so ist es! The transfer via USB provides a poorer quality than the path via Firewire (it's is so synonymous in the manual of your camera). About the video game so again via Firewire and Magix Video deluxe instead of USB and Picture Package and you get the original, of the camera recorded quality on the PC.

So the crux of the matter is surely not the only Anschlauss (USB or FW), the "defined" if you will, only the transmission speed, but the question whether the camcorder is capable of high speed.
