Requirements:
p. 5 minute video will have no more than 100 mb after compression.
b) The customer should be able to file the with the forests and meadows program (windows media player, vlc, no quick time!) play. (Which he can not always or not work)
Please factual tips on compression and constructive advice to relevant info on the net or anywhere else!

Why send it as an AVI or MPEG if flv is perfectly adequate?
Or is the default in AVI or MPEG format to send?

I would probably encode to Flash or WMV ...
The latter should work on all Windows machines are running and you can 'set a lot about the quality in relation to the size you get ...
