I wanted to watch the footy today and saw the blue picture.
So I probably have to clean the video heads with a cleaning cartridge.
How do I do it? I do not want to ruin or otherwise.

Otherwise,: cassette is inserted to run about ten seconds in the playback mode, and then verify the result. If you still repeat faults occur, this procedure up to two times. So was my experience with those parts that I mean Cam had almost geschrottet. I got some a no-name part of the electrical load placed, and the part has caused so ne Art Bandsalat, the whole electronics paralyzed. I almost got out no more. And as stupid as I was, of course, I thought it was a mistake on my part and it immediately appealed again. And the same procedure again. Habs then again rausbekommen, but since then I never stopped coming into the action. Since then I clean very carefully with cotton swabs and isopropyl alcohol. As an alternative to the cotton swab, I guess synonymous handle small cut blotter strips. They fit very well in the VCR, when Cam gehts only with cotton swabs, because everything is so small ...

Well, I know, really special leather rods are better, because the fibers of the cotton swab can come loose and get caught in s.den image heads, or (even damaging, demolished). I turn gently with a cotton swab, the head drum in the direction of rotation, the other sticks moistened with isopropyl alcohol, and I consider carefully s.The heads and "blot" only slightly around on it, so stop drankommt of isopropanol. Drüberstreichen I do for fear of damaging the heads, do not. It seems to make a difference, but it is definitely 1000 times better than to let a cleaning cartridge through which the dirt just fine, first distributed to the heads and secondly synonymous still acts like Schmirkelpapier ...

By Teslanol there cleaning spray for video heads.
T2 Anvistat for the heads on the drum, and SR Soft Clean for the Bandweg / pressure rollers.

Simply spray into the open cassette compartment, or what? I can not imagine actually ...

Logically, spray on dirty places, (ie heads, small black parts s. below the edge of the head drum), capstan, pinch roller.
The spray leaves no residues (; at T2 remains a thin anti-static film).
The same Dosirrohr to pinpoint spraying is supplied.
The dirt can be rinsed with appropriate amount of contact with a cotton swab, as has already been written above is a direct process risky since they swab the heads with lint or get caught in people's minds and can demolish them.

Where it would get to the isopropanol? Do you get in any pharmacy, and indeed so much that it reaches you 1000 years. I asked at the pharmacy for me ml isopropanol and have filled 100, as much as you can not use anything;) The whole of 2 or 3 euros.
And where exactly are the heads / head drum s.denen Reingen I need? Well, if you had never before the camera, or a similar device have been open and once you've looked at the innards, I would rather advise them that you own the putzst. In the worst case, you're doing more broken than that you're doing good.
The head drum is like the VCR - only in small, the round rotating part. The heads are, as of MK describes small black oblong Dinger s. below the edge of the head drum ... The heads must be clean, but it can not hurt synonymous when one cleans the silver head drum once synonymous with, finally, is on the tape where synonymous.
