Hello,
I'm quite new here and have a few questions.
I am working with digital photography a bit longer. Therefore I know something with exposure times from visors, etc..
I have filmed and my father used to SonyHi8 with a camcorder (v800E or something similar). Unfortunately, in the summer of a basement flood victims.
Now I have a mini-DV camcorder, the SonyDCR-HC37E purchased. The handling is very good, I think, I'm with the "simple" deal very satisfied.
Hab mir an earlier org. SonyI-Link Firewire cable to transfer movies to the small aufm computer purchased, as I have read it with third-party vendors (cheap artikel) of Firewire cables can be worse.
Now I am a bit disappointed of the picture quality. Admittedly, living in normal light shots are quite dark. And know the problems of photographing. Outside, I was not - too cold, the camera does not equal small break ...
So now my original two questions:
1. Is it possible if so how and with what software, movies aufzuhellen something? Like as with its image editing software for photos.
2. I have during the transfer to the computer noticed the picture from the LCD of the camcorder is much brighter than the material, which I now have my aufm Calculator (very large AVI files) and with using media player, VLC, etc. I've viewed. Why is that?
A Scene I've not yet burned and viewed s.Television me. I will like to do tomorrow morning.

But do not expect miracles, because shots in dark environments are often very noisy and the image noise is the lifting of brightness and contrast also increased significantly.

Take a look if your camera has a function, the LCD brightness strengthened, possibly even doubled. My Panasonic (GS500), the, there it is called Power-LCD. If you are not exactly the situation leads to your results ...
If you're unsure about the brightness, prefer a bright start to tick (of course only so that all image details are retained) and then later rausnehmen, or, if possible, several key scenes filming.
