Hello Forum,
I use a video on a CD with up to pack, but only 50MB space. That is very little. Can you please tell me, with what resolution / game length, I can roughly calculate, if I use MiniDV. I know it is a silly question. Please help me anyway. I would only have about a target. Please.

DV = 3.5 - 3.6 MB / sec, 50 MB: 3.5 MB / sec = 14 sec

Thank you once. It is an interview with a musician and the recording will be back on the CD with it. Planned for 15-20 minutes - before we were notified to the 50MB. Geht das überhaupt? 50MB for 15 min game length? Please help me.

15 min - 50 MB
15 min = 600 sec.
600 SEK = 50 MB
1 sec = 50 MB: 600 = 0.083 MB = 83 KB
83 KB x 8 = 667 kbit
So you have Picture and Sound 667 kbit / sec at 15 min and a max. Size of 50 MB
There is only a strongly reduced Resolutionund a codec such as DivX, Xvid or WMV

If you have 15 minutes to interview accommodate 50 MB, then you have with the bitrate to around 650 kbit down. Since the mouse bites from no thread.
Give us just a few details of what else on this CD is still on it, where and of whom they are to be played, etc.
Certainly we can find a joint solution.

So you have Picture and Sound 667 kbit / sec at 15 min and a max. Size of 50 MB As I see wmv as no (big) problem. However, I would think, to reduce the duration. 15 minutes nobody wants any window s.Computer View ... while the shortening of the video from the window of a real window. ;-)
