Hello,
I GREEMENT of a friend (an amateur filmmaker begeisteter) regular videos for "review" ;-).
So far I look always on the laptop, which continued to be quite uncomfortable. I'm looking for a software (freeware s.besten or at least affordable) with a video of me (mostly AVI or MPEG) on the DV port on the TV can output.
With the win Movimaker I have tried, if I then import the video, I get hundreds of individual "chapters" of which I only have to handle together.

Can you video your friend not to give a DVD? The should be of a regular DVD player on TV play.

You need a software which something can be, eg MSP
Then you need a converter, which consists of the DV signal to an analog TV does.
All you need to connect with each other, eg
Notebook -> Firewire -> Converters -> 3 RCA -> Scart -> TV
Stay in the notebook, or listen to Wolfgang.

DV-I input s.Fernsehgerät (or s.VCR), it fails not. It's just the software that is missing. And then what do I need as simple as possible.
So s.besten something like the Windows Media Player instead of the video on the display on the computer interface outputs.
Preferring fools Sure, anything beyond my capabilities in dealing with computers;-p.

Synonymous But then you will need a software that can output via DV - typically a editing software, such as Stephan said of the MSP. Only: the MSP is of course complex, which makes it not so incidentally.
I would time your friend with an initial talk. A DVD to be prepared for an amateur filmmaker's customary.
Alternatively: you buy the TVix who plays synonymous of normal files from hard disks - the one in the TViX can be installed. Only the cost of holding a little.

a simpler, but not qualitatively intoxicating solution would zb. in a video editing program for the invite and the dv-cam as a "preview monitor" section in the program log and then the video signal via firewire which s.der cam arrives via video-camera out of your TV set s.den: =) not pretty, but doable * g *

Qualitatively, this solution is not at all bad, or of the signal quality of the analog output of camera dependent.
If you have cited in my initial answer to the converter is replaced by the Camera, you're just there.
If you still want something better, replace the top 3 RCA by 1 S-Video + 2 RCA for Audio
