Hello people
I am a beginner and I hope this can help a next
I would like my camcorder recordings to DVD burn without quality loss.
My question is what do I need it and how is it done.
I have a sony digital camera Hi-8 and my PC has Firewire.
Programs for Capituren I synonymous. But do not know if the are the best and if the are well suited.
I have now heard the man a TV card needs it? Is that true?
Again, I have heard that it's enough if you absolutely have Firewire?
Can any one help me next?

You now have a digital camera (; Digital8, miniDV) or an analog camera (; Hi8, Video8, VHS, S-VHS )...???
With digital cameras come with Firewire you very well.
With analog cameras you need something to digitize your analog video, bsp. a TV card with S-Video Input ...
Programs which you have to capture? How to edit video? What the DVD authoring? How to burn DVD?

Where you can choose DV? DV means Digital Video ... is the recording format is used of the Digital8 and miniDV.

I told you that I am a beginner.
So when can I get a DV format Capituren Mpeg2 and that I meant.

Take your time but it was only a week to read and do it right and at

For me, looks banal in the way that I almost suspect a Verarsche.

So you can easily transfer via Firewire to your PC. It then enters avifile. about 13GB per hour, no wonder so ... The given program may unfortunately I know only by hearsay, but at least with the Windows Movie Maker to cut and create videos of Sonic MyDVD with DVDs. You can probably burn with Nero or with the native windows burning tool (; if you have XP).
Looks like you have everything together ...
1. Film on the hard drive
2. Film Editing the import program and cut.
3. Export movie into MPEG2 format
4. Import MPEG2 streams in DVD Authoring and create menus
5. DVD stream can create
6. burn to DVD
More detail is unfortunately not as I do not know the Programs.
Maybe someone else has experience with it ...?!!
