Infoseite // Vs. NTSC. PAL

Frage von tomty:

Hi,

I have a question:

Was for a long time in the U.S. and here I have a Canon GL1 with NTSC video out bought.
Now I have noticed that I will have problems if I go back to Germany.

Could someone describe to me the problems and possible solutions?

Would you, much obliged

Antwort von Markus:

Hello,

if your Television in Germany sees no NTSC, you can not see the pictures there. Understands the other hand, no PAL television, so you can see nothing else than the recordings of your camcorder. In modern PAL TVs, but should not be an issue since they can usually deal with NTSC.

In post-processing (s.PC or Mac) no problems are expected, as long as you like no other (PAL) Integrate shots. You can then use in your video films, nothing that anyone else what you have filmed or recorded from television. Unless you previously Dost by a time-consuming and may in any case, quality-degrading conversion.
