Newsmeldung von slashCAM: Vulnerabilities in older versions of Quicktime rob - 4 Nov 2005 16:00:00 The Danish security company Secunia has discovered several vulnerabilities in older versions of Quicktime. Although they are currently with the current version of Quicktime is closed. However, this only applies to the 7.0.3 version. In contrast, the version to 7.0.1 to 6.5.2 show the gaps. Therefore: Only runs with the current Quicktime, look, it sounds really sure.

How to make it manifest itself? I was at the last meeting, the internet icon in the taskbar at the far right just turned down. Weis did not why, the automatic update search inactive and the program had not disclosed synonymous. Also has written me a second entry in the startup even though I had disabled the first. Would be grateful for info.

The gaps have been described only recently discovered. it is very unlikely that there are exploits for this purpose. one can crash the program. another generates a buffer-overflow and could then infiltrate arbitrary code. is compared to the windows media player and realplayer to quicktime with the safest distance player. A look at the "security stories" of each player, speaks volumes.

Thank you. Now times have Trend Micro Internetsec. let things go through everything in the green zone. What else can I find anything synonymous, the devil knows what that was.
