Hello!
Since today I am the proud owner of a SonyHDR-CX6.
Used the camera to record short sequences and immediate viewing on your laptop.
Thanks to USB and MS Duo slot s.Laptop, the film is speedily on the hard drive.
Unfortunately Sony failed a reasonable player shaped. Reasonable means for me: Start / Stop / Still Image & slow motion at various speeds, at best, backward, and a time-line.
Is that too much to ask?
I hope not! So, who can recommend me something?
(it's not about finishing, just watch!)

If you have a media file (whether audio or video is no preference) with a player to play under Windows, there are several ways out of the (digital) File "Pictures" and / or tones on the output device.
WMP and MPC are synonymous DirectShow player, meaning they prefer on your system (installed) DirectShow filter to implement the data accordingly. VLC has the appropriate filter in the form of integrated libavcodec library, so do not prejudge on existing system-wide codecs back emtsprechend synonymous and used only his internal one. I own the synonymous with SonyHDR CX6.Sie makes the best high-resolution images that I have ever of an "amateur camera" saw.
Those with no relatively expensive editing software for M2TS files wants to buy (in this case I can fully the Ulead VideoStudio 11.5 recommend), but only the AVCHD video files on the PC would like to see, I recommend the freeware "K'lite codec pack 362f" . After installation, there's on top, the Classic.Der Media Player then plays the M2TS files flawlessly from!
