Interesting collector behavior. In my view it would be worthy to be repaired and then into the display case to be made.

I have 2 years TRV 900 with a defective audio channel (ie, not micro, but board Rep.kosten = 600 euros) for about 500,00 euro sold in Ebay. The target group is very small, people's theater or concerts with 2 cameras and record the sound with the other record. Such filmmakers are now slowly but surely to HDV, so will probably only 200 - 300 euros to be achieved.

Hi, I did two years ago a brand new TRV 900 for 600 euro (o, accessories.) Purchased. If one of them the price of a good external microphone (such as Sennheiser MKV 400) that are still around. 450 Euros left.
For Ebay are well erh. 900 times already synonymous for 900 -1000 euros offered (and apparently synonymous sold).

On these cameras is typically the internal microphone is broken.
It seems more likely if the little camera was used.
The repair will cost Sony Typisch not less than 250 euros.
Even the Microphone alone cost almost 100 euros.
A friend just had this problem with his camera, so I have this information collected in the network.
