Imaging software ... was'n this? - Who has such a thing, know it to appreciate it. :-)
Currently I am looking for a new imaging software scout because Power Quest Drive Image 2002 on the newer PCs are no longer working properly. The creation of images is possible, but unfortunately not back playing.
Now I am looking for my XP-based PCs for something new. What do you use and how reliable is your program?

Even I use it is not, but it did recently in many recommendation out in the dental practice of a girlfriend, where I maintain computer equipment, as a backup solution installed. It makes a very strong impression and has all the test runs done with panache.

Acronis True Image ... runs great. Have two cutting machines, the system records geclont. After a disk failure I can 5min. next work! (Disk out, clean plate ready)

After Drive Image, Norton Ghost, I am TrueImage for years and has since been searching for the right imaging software found its end. The program has everything needed s.Start and is also reliable. Nothing else is required.

Thanks for your feedback. The software of Acronis sounds good s.and costs a lot less than I had initially assumed.
A question still to Recovery: Is it possible, without major factors drive the system restore? It sounds perhaps silly, but some image programs can not win without a CD or a second (previously installed) OS. So an expense I would not have to drive.
Drive Image 2002 has a PC to restore (formerly synonymous when saving the image) is restarted and then in a DOS-level wrong. This software has done everything themselves, without you as a user have any harddisks or rebuild had to install additional operating systems.

There are TrueImage the functionality that you can clone entire disks. This should actually go.

I clicked on the Acronis website take a look into the manual and thrown me the restore options read. It appears that the desired functionality:
System partitions require a restart of the computer so that Acronis True Image Home disk in independent mode, can edit. Source:

So, now I have Acronis True Image 11 Home purchased, installed and tested. The system drive to secure and back playing the way you want is possible and sometimes even the software offers far more features than expected. :-)
