Frage von Shiwa:
Hello!
I'm playing with the idea to me an HD camcorder to buy. Probably it is the Canon HV 10, or the SonySr3.
Now I have a little rumgegoogelt and seen that it miniDV tapes in different qualities (and synonymous Preisklasen) exists.
I have seen that there are special MiniDV tapes with the name of HDV, which in comparison to other tapes are very expensive. (> 10 ¬ / piece).
Are they absolutely necessary for recording in HD, or are synonymous here in the forum recommended PR-quality tapes?
Glad to answer.
Cheers,
Shiwa
PS: If your the handling of the HV 10 Fummel really so, or is that after a short acclimatization over?
Antwort von pm:

no special "HVD-tapes" are not necessary and mostly money-.
Antwort von Markus:

Specific HDV tapes are as per Manufacturer MiniDVs smoother than normal and produce less abrasion. This is the danger of dropped frames I-(= half a second picture and sound in HDV) are minimized.
