Hello,
I want to cover my old Super 8 films on DVD.
Since I use a Mac, I just thought that I'll get a camcorder with svhs output, and the Picture of Hama Telescreen jump right into an Elgato Eye TV box reinspiele in real time mpeg2.
The setup works very well as such actually synonymous. Unfortunately, however, I realized that the pictures come out from the SVHS output of the camera far too pale. On the tele-screen, the pictures are much hotter, so to speak, and the recordings are made in the winter are often blinded by the PC (White Balance ???).
Now to my real question. As I do not unbeding a DV camcorder need to get pictures in my calculator; synonymous Can I just use an old camera, like for example, use old vhs or Hi8?
If so, what should the settings for Camera definitely dominate.
Does anyone know models that I could use? Then maybe I would get such a cheap model somewhere.
I'm thankful for every tip.

More generally, the finite element Camera to say that when it comes to you the most accurate recording of the S8 characteristic is: The better the recording quality, the better. SVHS wirlich and is now a miserable quality, especially with your purpose ... You're monierst right now, even small changes in the contrasts ... So, MiniDV has a much better quality (almost broadcast quality) and is indeed synonymous probably someone in your acquaintances have. Next, you should be the material via firewire od I-link dub. Also there may otherwise have gone in the blink quality ...
The ideal would be, of course Digit Beta Camera .... but that is unlikely to have a cabinet in the corner ... Otherwise you will always be differences btwn the original material (S) and have the Video Sampling: Film, and just S8, has an entirely different pattern as video (aperture size, brilliance, etc.). Even the film grain is different than electronic. Therefore, film is still much better than even the best HDVideo. So when it comes just at the S8 features, then you should take the best camera. In order to get their hands as close to the S8 material, then you should then make a light-determination (super in Avid Xpress & After Effects). Perhaps you are someone who has this Program. Simple editing programs will probably offer little ... but this function where I do not know me from ....
Otherwise, I will cover my views synonymous S8 films. This is indeed synonymous offered on the Internet and some of photo shops and Saturn .... Have you tried the times? Would I be interested, as there are the results ...!
