Frage von TVJunky:Hi,
I have the following problem:
my VCR is broken and my Videokamerra (SVHS-C) is broken.
Now of course I would like to save my films.
This I can me a SVHS recorder and a Canon MVX1i to digitize auzuleihen. But only for a few days!
That means I have my video collection at once completely digitizer. And in full DV quality is beyond my harddrive.
Can I use AVI files already in DVD-quality Mpeg convert first and then cut and put together? Or must then burning everything anyway newly compressed and several times I lose quality?
Or should you only the files to an intermediate stage compress, such as halving on 6-7 GB per hour.
Or should we, the digital camera with lower quality (Long Play) included?
In some treatment programs, there is the Picture functions and Tonqulität better. If before or after the compression be used?
Or better do not use?
(sorry for the many questions)
Antwort von r.p. television:
Depends on the length of your material s.and how much money you like to save your analog material is worth.
Since I am of Experminenten with lower data rate and MPEG2 compression without large Erfahungswerte want on your advise, I would recommend you in the media market or anderso a USB2.0 500 GB disk to buy. The cost is currently just below 200th - Euro and it fit about 42 hours of DV or HDV on it. This material then you can without long batches directly into your editing program to import. When you can not use the hard drive to the basket shelf.
