Frage von r.p.television:Hello!
Have a big problem.
I Have a Canon XL-H1 and have risen with the Camera and Picture her very happy. But since I almost always very low focal lengths (wide angle) in combination instantly retrieving Barem need large zoom range, it made sense for me little, wait for the announcement of Zoomobjetkiv Canon 6x wide-angle, especially since the troubled 3000 Euro synonymous not enough ".
So I bought myself empfohlenerweise a wide-angle converter thickness of 0.7 x Century, and although expensive Broadcaster (fully durchzoombar) for 1000.
Now I am quite disappointed, the just suffering in the full wide angle, the picture under significant edge blurring. Although these are small when zooming, but only at focal lengths, where the converter is not necessary.
Now my suspicions:
The converter was originally expected for the XL1 or XL2.
The XL1 did not have a true 16:9 chip, so the sampling was not synonymous as wide angle, as is now in true 16:9 chip.
With the XL2 blur the boundary fell in the DV-Picture not carry much weight.
But with this HDV edge blur is really very disturbing.
The edge blurring occurs exactly on the imaginary 4:3 image borders on - even a little earlier - sometimes even s.Rand of grease proof image area. Also see above screen appear blurred.
Supposedly, according to dealer, there are no better converter.
Now I have looked at me, but my shots that I've made with x Lend equipment - with a Sony FX1 Sony Wide Converter 0.8 - and lo and behold: The picture is completely sharp. Although there is a slight pincushion distortion, but the much less disturbing than these ugly edge blurring, which can affect the picture as if you had used a 40 euro converter of HAMA or Vivanco, who is not optimally matched to the camera.
Now my question:
Has anyone the Sony Converter 0.8 (which is obviously expected to 16:9 and HD) on an XL H1 tested? Is that picture there, too (complete durchzoombar yes because the Canon has a new 20x zoom as opposed to 12-fold at the Sony). Is there edge blur, vignetting, or chroma bug?
The converter costs only half as the Century and would be a useful alternative.
Would be very grateful for tips or other synonymous alternatives because it is not easy to test a converter without a binding intent to purchase and rental equipment is synonymous with the increasingly complicated. You get converter often in conjunction with Camera and then you have the whole procedure (travel, security deposit, daily fee, testing, emission, etc.)

Unfortunately, because although the same match thread (72mm) but varying the lens distance of the Sony converter not on the XL H1.
However, it is proved that it is possible, an excellent picture synonymous with HDV Converter get.
Now my question:
Does anybody know whether the 0.8 Converter of creating a better HDV Century Picture. Or someone knows a Sales / Manufacturer who can supply a fully durchzoombaren converter that with the Canon XL H1 Optics provides a very good picture?
Would be very grateful for tips!
