For Geforce cards s.der 8500er series is the case. Better: Maps of the 9000 Series (the popular 9600 GT for example).
With ATI is the same. Starting with the X1300 is H.264 decode. Better: Maps of the HD 3000 & 4000 series. Here is the HD 3650 often used. Cutting edge HD 4650 or HD 4570 (higher = better).
