Hello, I am now the last days of the fingers wundgesucht by volume recommendations for the HV10 in particular (experience with other cameras are nice to read, but are not really relevant).
I even movies for nearly 10 years with my old PC100 and the simple use Sony Premium tapes without any problems - I can not even remember ever to have had Dropout ... (I, however, examples of each band only once and just leave it dananch synonymous only play once a transfer into the computer).
Now I've ordered me a HV10 and am quite uncertain what tapes I use.
That the super expensive HDV tapes of Sonyok have, I understood, but I'm looking for a more favorable alternative synonymous.
So HV10 users, what can you recommend?

Hello,
it is completely cold, what tapes you take, as a digital signal is recorded, so the tape does not need dynamic, such as an analog signal. Whether HDV or SD synonymous plays no role, because the amount of times now s.Daten not faster or slower or anywhere you can.
It is important that the tape is well managed and of the tape drive, and the remainder of their own. This is similar to CD-resistant speakers in the early 90s :-)

Hm, a little lean, the yield of the answers so far ... because no one has of you ne HV10?
@ cj: I've searched the forum, and I have almost as many complaints as recommendations on the proposed tape of you found - and this Manufacturer more than just a type of tape offers.
@ Axel: Yes, but drop-outs are significantly more annoying than DV. Moreover, not every harmony tape in each drive - as you correctly write itself. My Sonymag Sony tapes - but the HV10? did you experience with the HV10?
I have in the meantime, a little leisure and'm next to JVC tapes with the name M-DV63PROHD. Has anyone experience this perhaps - make an impression and are priced ok.

I drive in my HV10 just what is there. Effects of about Panasonic Sonyand TDK (here in the U.S.) tendons and never had problems. Dropped frames are often not truly synonymous tape. If the transfer to the calculator which is stuck because the PC just says a file on a very important virus to investigate gibts drop outs, because the CPU is what makes the hard drive and so what makes the whole system for a moment hooks. Especially since XP is a candidate for hard drives. Had so s.Anfang problems, because on the calculator, which I had so much new Muell with it was that no sane person needs, but the CPU unoetig loaded. After Runterschmeissen of Mr. Norton & Co and games run smooth.

I would because of the existing collection, and those are probably in a lot of 10years, sometimes staying at Sony. What do you do if your old camcorder broke, then you must either Eiene new DV camcorder you buy or you verfällst forced into a mixed farm and you certainly want to avoid. I can not imagine it, if it is a synonymous Canon is not so bad will be if Cam had never seen other tapes with dropouts. I would in any case take a test with Sony tapes do. BTW is synonymous with a problem which I always speculate if I need a new cam to return a Sony will take. Alone because of my existing collection.

Ok, Thanks for your hints. I've really grown over the years although not very many, but maybe 150 tapes recorded. And almost all of them are Sony. The notice was so good.
Ich hab mir mal nevertheless ordered the JVC tapes and they will try - dananch take a test with the simple bands perform.
I hope my old Sonyhält remains synonymous with brave, so I need at least for the old tapes back in so the computer can play. Should not representing 10 Jhre hät for another 10 good? ;-)
I keep you posted as my experiences.
