if I would like to record HD format do I need special tapes? Or is synonymous of normal miniDV tapes from?

I use the tapes of Panasonic.
For nomale holiday videos where it is not so tragic if someone is a drop out occurs, I use the DVM60FE10.

If you're not with drop outs can live like in wedding videos, because I use the DVM60YE.

Only half times interesse:
Between the two you really notice a difference?

Time in earnest: I've used both times and had absolutely no qualitative difference noticed. I am using synonymous not so much the more expensive "professional 3CCD" cassette.

That the picture is not improved, it is clear, I said now, more the frequency of dropouts, for example

I personally have always consistently been using the cheap Panasonic tapes and had no reason to complain. Under very dry / dusty conditions, I had a few dropouts on a tape and it would be interesting to know whether the "professional band" in such situations is an improvement.

I use for my panasonic HV20 synonymous always the cheapest panasonic dv tapes so far, I had no dropouts! Tip: The first minute is always forward! bands, I use a maximum of 3.4 x in important recordings 1x

As already written.
The image quality is, of course, equal for all bands. Only Dopouts bands come in cheap frequent than in the more expensive.

With the DVM60FE10 I had a few dropouts. Pro tape in about 1-3

With the DVM60YE I had never dropouts :-)

1. 80 cartridges work really is not all right.
2.
