Hi,
Which upgrade would be necessary for my PC to the notorious problems (capturing HDV: "no input insert" message; runtime error when keyframe button, no preview .... falters at the first frame) and finally get rid of the right to enter into Avid. The following components are currently installed.
Memory:
2048MB-Kit OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 Gold GX XTC Dual Channel, CL5
Bars + 1024MB OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 Gold GX XTC, CL5
Mainboard: Asus M3A
Processor: AMD Athlon64 X2 6000
graphics card: ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT
Soundcard: Terratec Aureon 5.1 PCI
The rest is not important, right?
Would be a shame if it were to be garnix ... Avid is indispensable for me! Help for the listed problems is of course synonymous always welcome.
PS: With Magix Video Deluxe 06 and later 2.0 and Premiere Pro CS3 I never had such problems when capturing, etc.?

I do not know if the conditions are still heard that the firewire card chip of Texas Instruments (TI) must be completed.
If our machine is always out, running here.
The chip on the sound card may not Realtek, which is always stressful.
Most runs Avid but not even high

So my firewire card is:
Digitus USB 2.0 and Firewire PCI Cont. DCST USB2/4-1394/3V
No idea whether there was drauf of Texas Instruments is ....?
Oh and the problem with the Realtek sound chip, I have only synonymous, now I would go for the yes Terratec fetched, and at least the program starts synonymous.

with you is almost everything what Avid does not like ...
you need:
CPU: Intel (s.p4 everything with xpress pro)
graphics: nvidia (a "large" or better a gt quadro fx)
Sound: sound blaster conform
firewire: with Texas Instruments chip drauf, s.besten ads pyro 64
