Hello,
I want my old VHS tapes onto DVD and used perpetuate this really very good and adequate for my purposes "WinAVI Video Capture" tool. The VCR, I have "normal" s.die TV card (Hauppauge WinTV 878 card, 5 years old). The latest WinTV and WDM Drivers installed. The problem which I have now, apparently only occurs when encoding in DVD format: The quality is actually surprisingly good, but almost always occur at irregular intervals, small colored balls on the whole picture spread, ie, short color or pixel points (mostly green and blue flicker briefly and go away again). How bad is it does not usually find it-at least for bright images, not really, but it's already somewhat annoying and I would be interested if anyone knows why this is (in the Capture tool, it is not, have been synonymous various other programs (Honestech VHS to DVD, Nero Vision) and tried the problem is everywhere the same.
Could it be that this is with the WDM driver related?

If you prefer the simplicity, no editing and no diminution in quality, you would be synonymous one (reputable!) DVD recorder in question.
