Frage von Toadward:Hello
I have recently introduced a new calculator, and has long been a DVB-T USB stick.
Now I would like to very large. Mpg files that I capture on the stick convert into smaller format. And I would like to retain the option of view the movies as a burned DVD on my television.
Supplied with the drive of the Windows Media Encoder was included.
Previous attempts have either failed (garkeine output file), or the neukodierte wmv file has geruckelt and has had some picture-sound asynchronicities.
Can someone give me tips to do so.

DVB-processing in brief ....
To avoid Picture / Tonversatz that you should first of the two are inseparable. This goes eg with PVAStrumento (http://offeryn.de/dv.htm) or Project X (http://www.lucike.info/index.htm?http://www.lucike.info/page_projectx.htm).
Then you can weave / movie start / end cut away as with
MPEG2Schnitt (http://www.mdienert.de/mpeg2schnitt/), then Picture / sound re-combine) mux (and then it depends on what you really want to have: eg DVD, Xvid / Divx or Windows Media ....

Danke schon mal.
There is synonymous coding to make the shots a little space flocking? Currently, as a feature film (100 min or so) has 2GB synonymous good, one can get the small () without much loss in quality.
Current format is probably MPEG2 transmittion (or as the synonymous words, not very likely) in the programmed style.

With more modern codecs is somewhat smaller, but never without quality loss. In addition, a good encoding itself takes on a modern calculator much computation time.
If you want to go back anyway s.end burn DVDs (ie MPEG2), I would save me all the detours. With a few tweaks (eg, loud

If you want to create as a result of a video DVD, make it as beiti described has therefore create DVD-Vido folder on the hard drive with it as 2 or 3 shooting, and then let this shrinker comfortable on the size of a DVD. The result s.Qualität loses something, but with all the players played.
Alternatively still come Xvid / DivX, and H.264 codecs, as useful to "Filmendlagerung in contemplative. The former can be with some DVD players, the latter is at the moment as well as support of any device, is therefore now more suitable for computer viewing. Also requires transcoding, as already said, really a lot of computing power / time.
But where the journey should take, is your decision.
